Ordering & Customization
How do I place a custom order?
Choose your hat and customization options, upload a clear photo of your antlers, and complete checkout. From there, we take care of the rest — including hand-tracing your antlers to create a one-of-a-kind design.
What kind of antler photo should I upload?
For the best results:

Use a clear, well-lit photo

Antlers should be fully visible

A straight-on or slightly angled photo works best
Don’t worry if the background isn’t perfect — we’re focused on the antlers. Not sure? Upload it anyways and we will let you know if we can work with it. Or, email us at outercreekhatters@gmail.com
Can I engrave just one antler instead of both?
Yes! You can choose:

Left antler only

Right antler only
-
Both antlers
You’ll select this during customization.
Can I choose where the patch is placed on the hat?
Yes — you can select left or right side placement when ordering. Please double-check your selections before checkout, as changes after proof approval may not be possible.
✍️ Proof Approval Process
Will I receive a proof before my hat is made?
Yes. Every custom order includes a digital proof so you can review the antler tracing before production begins.
How long does it take to receive my proof?
Proofs are typically sent within 2 business days after your order is placed and your photo is received.
How long do I have to approve my proof?
You’ll have 48 hours to review and approve your proof once it’s sent.
What happens if I don’t respond to my proof?
If we don’t hear back within 48 hours, the proof will be considered approved as-is so production can move forward.
This helps keep orders moving and ensures timely delivery.
Can I request changes to my proof?
Yes — minor adjustments are included. Additional revisions beyond what’s outlined may require an added fee.
Production & Shipping
How long does production take?
Once your proof is approved, production typically takes 2–5 business days.
When will I receive my order?
Most customers receive their hat within 7–12 business days from proof approval, depending on shipping location.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship within the United States. If international shipping becomes available, it will be clearly noted at checkout.
Returns, Refunds & Issues
Do you accept returns or refunds?
Because each hat is custom-made, all custom orders are final sale once the proof is approved.
What if my order arrives damaged or defective?
If your hat arrives damaged or there’s a manufacturing issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll gladly make it right.
What if I made a mistake on my order?
Please double-check all selections before checkout. Once a proof is approved, changes cannot be guaranteed.
Artwork & Usage Rights
Who owns the artwork?
You own the likeness of your antlers. The hand-traced artwork itself remains our intellectual property.
You’re welcome to use the artwork for personal use, but commercial reproduction or resale is not permitted unless otherwise agreed upon.
Social Media & Sharing
Will you share my design on social media?
We love celebrating great hunts! With your consent, we may share:

Finished hat photos

Behind-the-scenes engraving clips
Faces and identifying details are always blurred or omitted unless otherwise agreed.
You’ll be able to give or decline consent during checkout.
